Garrison Brothers Bourbon is a bold, powerful whiskey with inviting nose of caramel, butterscotch, nutmeg and coconut leading to a velvety mouthfeel and complex palate of vanilla, brown sugar, dark chocolate and sweet spice. Subtle notes of caramelized sugar and nutmeg lingers on the long, buttery finish.

Garrison Brothers Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Classic bourbon notes of honeyed toasty oak and wood spices.

Palate: Sweet entry, big but rounded with notes of blackcurrant and liquorice in support.

Finish: Lingering spice and white coffee notes.

Distillery Information

Dan Garrison -- an ex-marketing executive for a tech company -- founded Garrison Bros. in 2008, after being laid off by a former employer.Garrison put a few investors and family members together, and started selling product contract from other distilleries. After a few years they generated enough resources and market interest to officially launch a distillery in 2008, about 60 miles west of Austin in the tiny town of Hye, Texas.
